Joined Together: The quilts of Toombs County and beyond
Quilts are in essence functional, born of necessity and frugality. Symbolically, they are so much more: an outlet of creative energy, a show of love for another human being, a way to remember. From scraps of fabric and stitches, quilts join together ideas, communities, and generations. See stunning examples of all of these in "Joined Together," on view January 29 through February 26 during regular visiting hours.
Appointments may also be made by calling 912.537.1911
